Our Farm History

We are proud of our farm and we are excited to share it with you. In October 1984 we bought a piece of property in the Upper Ojai just 6 miles from Santa Paula. Steve sat at the kitchen table and designed the plans for our beautiful farmhouse. We bought a Painted Pony for our kids named her "Sky". We lived in a single wide trailer for 3 years while we built our house. In a short time we began acquiring some farm animals and before we knew it we had a barnyard full of goats,sheep, chickens,rabbits and ducks. Steve was teaching first grade and wanted to bring his class to the farm on a field trip. Well word spread and for the past 21 years we have welcomed over 20,000 school children to experience a day on the farm. parents began asking us to develop a summer program for their kids and our daycamp was born. Now some of our original daycampers are in their 30's. Stay tuned we'll keep updated the history aas well as everyday adventures.
